I am located in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles and have an office in Sherman Oaks.
How often should I come to therapy?
Weekly appointments are necessary in the beginning of therapy. As you benefit from your therapy, we can discuss a plan to modify the frequency of appointments to every-other-week and then eventually taper off.
Can we do a therapy session on Skype or FaceTime?
Yes. Face-to-face sessions are preferred but Skype and FaceTime sessions are available.
How much does therapy cost?
My fee is $150.00 per 50 minute session for individuals.

How can I pay for my therapy session?
You can pay for your therapy sessions with cash, check, Venmo, Cash $ app, credit card, or electronic transfer. Additional fees may apply for some credit cards and electronic payment methods. A typical fee for an electronic payment is 2.75%.
Can I negotiate the hourly rate?
This fee is modest for seasoned psychotherapists in the Los Angeles area, yet sometimes the question arises, “do you offer sliding scale”? The answer is no, I do not, because it’s most appropriate to pay a fee that is equal to the high-quality psychotherapy experience that I provide and clients deserve. Paying for psychotherapy is a way of honoring the work.
Do you accept insurance?
If you have insurance and want to use it, tell me and we can discuss your options. If you do not have insurance, you can receive psychotherapy from me but you must pay in full at each session.
Can you handle the insurance paperwork for me?
I will not bill your insurance company. That is up to you. I will gladly provide you a properly coded “paid” invoice reflecting what you have paid for your therapy. You can choose to submit it to your insurance company directly and find out whether your insurance will reimburse you. Getting reimbursed for therapy is your responsibility.
